Hi there! Let me share a little bit of my story and how I ended up in this wonderful world of social media management (spoiler alert: it involves a lot of creativity, coffee, and a few plot twists!). ◡̈
I’m a native Texan, born and raised in Houston, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Spanish. While my Spanish skills have, let’s say, “taken a siesta” over the years, my love for all things communication has only grown stronger! Writing, photography, and design have always been my creative trifecta.
In 2012, life took an exciting turn when God led my husband and I to Michigan, where we’ve happily put down roots. Not long after moving, I started a photography business that I poured my heart into for a decade. During that time, I also became a mom to three energetic and adorable boys (read: professional multitasking became my superpower).
Running my photography business was more than snapping pictures. I dove into copywriting, design, blogging, social media marketing, trade shows, networking, website design—you name it! It was a one-woman show and a wild ride, but it gave me the foundation for what I do today. After 10 amazing years, I felt it was time to hang up my camera strap. A few years later, God nudged me toward a new chapter: Social With Christina.
Now, I get to use every creative and analytical skill I’ve ever developed as a Social Media Manager and Marketing Strategist, and I love every minute of it. Whether it’s crafting stunning visuals, writing engaging copy, or developing clear strategies, I thrive on helping businesses and nonprofits create beautiful, impactful brands. My passion is to help clients thrive—so they’re no longer stuck in the endless grind of “doing it all” but getting nowhere.
